We are proud to share a meaningful milestone that reflects our continued journey of youth transformation, sustainability, and impact. On 4th December 2025, MySkills Foundation, in collaboration with HSBC Malaysia, celebrated the graduation of 100 underserved youths who completed their training in Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Electric Vehicle (EV) technology under the initiative, “100 Youths Charging Up for a Greener Tomorrow.”
The Achievement Day event was graced by YBhg. Dato’ Ts. Dr. Nagulendran Kangayatkarasu, Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth & Sports, as our Guest of Honour.
We were also honoured by the presence of Mr Raja Amir Shah Raja Azwa, CEO of HSBC Amanah & Chief Sustainability Officer, alongside our Chairman Dr Shanmuga Siva, members of the MySkills Board of Directors, and our valued green technology industry partner, Basis Bay.
This program goes beyond technical certification. It represents the power of second chances. It empowers youth who have faced adversity be it family breakdown, poverty, or exclusion from the mainstream education system to reclaim control over their future. Through industry-aligned training, mentorship, and holistic character development, these youths are now equipped to contribute meaningfully to Malaysia’s green economy, and to our national sustainability goals including Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050.
We are deeply grateful for this long-term collaboration that is rooted not just in corporate social responsibility, but in shared values of inclusion, dignity, and empowerment.
At MySkills, we always say: “Skills give direction, but love gives purpose.” While we provide tools and training, it is compassion and trust that truly transform lives. We’ve seen young people arrive with little hope, and walk away with a renewed sense of self-worth, ready to take on careers that not only sustain them, but also serve a greater purpose.
