MySkills Foundation is thrilled to have partnered with Public Bank for their inaugural Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative on our campus. This meaningful collaboration was made exceptional by the enthusiasm and dedication of the 45 Public Bank volunteers, all driven by our shared mission to create lasting change in the lives of underserved youth.
The day began with an inspiring address from our CEO, Mr. Deva, who shared MySkills Foundation’s journey and our commitment to transforming the futures of at-risk youth through a holistic approach to education and personal growth. This partnership with Public Bank underscores our mutual dedication to impactful, community-centered change.
Public Bank’s team embraced the MySkills campus experience, actively participating alongside our students in three engaging sessions. In the first, 9 volunteers and 25 students gathered for a Financial Literacy and Scam Awareness workshop, learning crucial skills for building financial security. The second session brought together 10 volunteers and 5 students in the “Challenge Your Skills” Baking Workshop, where creativity and teamwork flourished as they crafted delightful treats. Finally, 16 volunteers and 20 students joined the “Challenge Your Skills” Planting Session, fostering both teamwork and dedication as they cultivated plants and built community spirit. These experiences enriched our students’ lives while giving Public Bank volunteers a meaningful, hands-on connection with our mission.
The day concluded with a lively student performance, filling the room with warmth and joy. In a thoughtful gesture, Public Bank presented each participating student with a gift, further demonstrating their commitment to our cause.
