In celebration of National Earth Day, 35 passionate volunteers from Baker Hughes joined hands with MySkills Foundation in a powerful act of environmental stewardship planting 100 Moringa trees across our campus grounds. This meaningful initiative is a testament to Baker Hughes’ continued commitment to sustainability and its deepening engagement with MySkills as a trusted ESG partner since 2022.
Beyond the act of planting, we had the privilege of sharing with the Baker Hughes team the transformative 15-year journey of MySkills – our evolution, our impact, and how social innovation can uplift at-risk youth through holistic empowerment. As part of this collaboration, we also introduced our framework for monetising social impact, illustrating how this Moringa tree initiative not only benefits the environment but also contributes to long-term youth development and livelihood creation.
The Moringa tree known as the “miracle tree” stands as a living symbol of resilience, nourishment, and sustainable growth. These values reflect both the spirit of Earth Day and the heart of MySkills’ mission.
