Description:
A study showed that almost 7,000 students were dropping out from school annually. Some of the causes identified include dysfunctional families, low self-esteem and peer pressure. MySkills Foundation set up the Primus Institute of Technology in 2011 to address this issue. We speak to foundation director S. Pasupathi about Primus and why he chose to model it after colleges in the U.S. that lifts the African American community out of poverty.
