MySkills Foundation celebrated an empowering milestone with its 7th Graduation Ceremony on 13th December 2025, recognising the accomplishments of 250 youths who completed the Foundation’s holistic transformation and vocational training programs for the 2024–2025 session. Held at the Foundation’s Youth Transformation & Entrepreneurship Campus in Kalumpang, the ceremony was a proud showcase of perseverance, values-based learning, and future readiness.
Officiated by YB M. Kula Segaran, Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform), the event brought together parents, educators, donors, volunteers, corporate partners, and civil society supporters all united by a shared commitment to ensuring no young person is left behind.
The graduation marked more than the end of a learning journey; it reflected the transformation of youth from marginalised and vulnerable backgrounds into confident individuals prepared for the workforce and for life. MySkills’ model combines technical certification with holistic character development, enabling students to rebuild their sense of self-worth while acquiring employable skills.
Graduates received certification in a diverse set of fields including Electrical Wiring, Air Conditioning, Corporate Secretarial, Care Giving, and Bakery & Pastry Arts. These skills have been carefully aligned with national economic needs and industry demands ensuring that MySkills graduates are job-ready and capable of contributing meaningfully to Malaysia’s social and economic growth.
The ceremony also reflected the evolving vision of the Foundation , not only as an education provider but as a catalyst for long-term impact. MySkills has demonstrated strong institutional resilience, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic when it continued operations uninterrupted to serve its students, many of whom relied on the campus as their only safe haven.
A key highlight of the event was the presentation of prestigious awards recognising excellence, transformation, and service. The Foundation conferred five highest honours upon outstanding graduates, including the Raja Dato’ Rashid Raja Badiozaman Transformation Award, the MySkills Excellence Award, and three Special Jury Awards. These awards celebrated graduates who demonstrated exceptional personal growth, leadership, technical competence, and commitment to positive change throughout their journey at MySkills.
In addition, four special awards were presented to honour the invaluable contributions of volunteers who have supported the Foundation in diverse and meaningful ways. These recognitions acknowledged individuals whose dedication, mentorship, expertise, and selfless service have played a vital role in nurturing student development and sustaining the MySkills ecosystem.
The graduation was also a moment of collective gratitude. The Foundation acknowledged the unwavering support of government, corporate partners and compassionate individuals whose contributions have made the MySkills transformation journey possible.
As Malaysia looks to the future with ambitions for inclusive growth, TVET expansion, and sustainability leadership, MySkills Foundation continues to play a strategic role in shaping youth who are not only equipped with technical skills but also rooted in empathy, adaptability, and a strong moral compass.
The 7th Graduation Ceremony was a celebration of transformation at every level from the perspectives of individual, institutional, and societal. It affirmed that when opportunity is matched with compassion and structure, true change is not only possible, but inevitable.
As we wrap up 2025 with immense pride and purpose, MySkills wishes each of you Season’s Greetings and a Happy New Year 2026, may it be a year of continued impact, compassion, and transformation for all.
